Job summary

Hungry Horse pub in Aberford is seeking an experienced leader to support the General Manager, lead the floor during peak times and coach a busy team to deliver great hospitality. You’ll drive sales, maintain high standards across service, food and drink, and help with rotas, recruitment and training to develop your staff.

Qualifications

• Experience as Assistant Manager, Supervisor or Team Leader in a busy pub, restaurant, bar, hotel, retail or similar fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who loves hospitality and knows how to lead people.

You’ll ideally have experience as an Assistant Manager, Supervisor or Team Leader in a busy pub, restaurant, bar, hotel, retail or similar fast‑paced environment.

More importantly, you’ll be:

A natural leader – you know how to bring people with you and aren’t afraid to get stuck in.

Customer focused – you care about creating great experiences and understand what makes customers come back.

Commercially minded – you understand that great service and a successful business go hand in hand.

Confident and hands‑on – you’re comfortable making decisions, managing a busy shift and supporting your team when things get hectic.

Passionate about people – you’ll enjoy coaching, developing and recognising your team.

Previous hospitality management experience is great, but we’re also interested in people from other fast‑paced customer‑focused environments who have the right attitude and leadership skills.
