Overview

As the Assistant Management Accountant, you will assist in the financial close and ensure that it is completed each month within the scheduled timeframe and that the numbers reported to Group are accurate.

Responsibilities

• Intercompany accounting
• Assisting with the preparation of revenue recognition (billing)
• Assisting with fixed assets management and capital purchases/leasing (IFRS 16)
• Assisting with the preparation of accruals
• Assisting with the preparation of prepayments
• Other overheads analysis
• Assisting with the balance sheet reconciliations
• Taking ownership of balance sheet items & P&L line items
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements to improve efficiencies
• Producing financial analysis and partnering with management & financial accountants, along with other areas in the business

Qualifications

Do you have a base accounting degree? Are you currently studying towards CIMA, ACCA or an equivalent qualification?

Do you have previous accounting experience and exposure to month-end processes in a fast-paced corporate environment? Possess strong Excel skills including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and macros?
