Sheridan Maine is working with a growing media business based in central London to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive finance professional looking to develop their career in a dynamic and fast-growing environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, and journals.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
  • Prepare and analyse variance reports against budgets and forecasts.
  • Assist in producing cashflow forecasts and support working capital management.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting cycle with accurate and timely data.
  • Reconcile intercompany transactions and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist with preparation of VAT returns and compliance reporting.
  • Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable duties.
The successful Assistant Management Accountant
  • Strong accounting knowledge, ideally with experience in a similar finance role.
  • Comfortable working with management accounts, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Highly organised, accurate, and able to work to deadlines.
  • A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Proactive, with a willingness to take ownership and learn in a growing business.
