We're looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to support our Group HR Leadership Team with high-quality financial insight, reporting and analysis.

This is a high-exposure role, perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative, people-focused environment and enjoys driving better business decisions through finance.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Acting as a trusted partner to the Group HR Director and leadership team
  • Leading the monthly forecasting and annual budget processes for the HR function
  • Preparing monthly management accounts: P&L, balance sheet, variance analysis and insightful commentary
  • Producing monthly reporting packs for cost centre managers, and contributing to quarterly business reviews
  • Ensuring compliance with SOX requirements and internal controls
  • Running monthly budget reviews with HR to assess risks, opportunities, and forecast accuracy

Requirements

What we're looking for

  • Strong finance background - qualified or finalist (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
  • Experience in management accounting, business partnering or FP&A
  • Able to explain financials to non-finance stakeholders clearly and confidently
  • Highly organised, detail-focused, and comfortable working to tight deadlines
  • Previous experience supporting HR or central functions is a plus, but not essential
