Fantastic Opportunity to join the Financial Planning & Reporting Team at LSBU:

We are seeking a highly efficient & proactive individual to join the Grants & Contracts team within the Management Accountancy division of LSBU’s Finance department. The team supports Principal Investigators & Project Managers across the University, handling accounting, reporting, and claims administration for funded research & enterprise activities.

About you: We are looking for a numerate and resourceful individual, able to learn quickly and adapt to different financial rules of various funding providers, working collaboratively with staff across the University.

The skills and experience you will need:

You should be skilled in using finance systems to access transaction data and evidence for transaction defrayment. Building relationships with colleagues and external partners, understanding complex financial arrangements, including match funding and multiple stakeholders, is essential. Strong data analysis and manipulation skills are a plus.

Details about the role:

Full-time (35 hours/week), permanent position.

The University operates a hybrid working model, combining on-site and remote work. Specific days on campus are arranged with the line manager.
