Job summary

Description

Are you an experienced accounts assistant/Assistant Management Accountant ready for your next challenge? We have an exciting opportunity available right now!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage purchase to pay processes, including supplier onboarding and payment runs.
  • Oversee site debit card and petty cash spend.
  • Handle sales invoicing and resolve funding-related queries.
  • Take charge of credit control.
  • Assist in completing funder contracts.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations.
  • Support payroll processing and cost reallocations.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and balance sheets.
  • Forecast cash flow.
  • Implement budgetary controls.
  • Participate in monthly P&L meetings.
  • Assist in the implementation of finance IT systems.
  • Contribute to the development of finance processes and policies.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all processes.

Skills/Experience Required: Essential:

  • AAT Level 3 or above, or qualified by experience.
  • Experience in the healthcare sector.
  • Good working knowledge of Xero.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Strong IT and analysis skills.
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure.
  • Proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Hands-on experience across transaction processing and analysis.
  • Time management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
