Job summary

Edwards & Pearce in Hull is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join a busy finance team. The role offers study assistance to complete ACCA or CIMA and suits a CIMA/ACCA studying assistant level accountant (or AAT qualified and about to start further study) with broad based accounting experience.

You will handle management accounts, post journals, accruals and variance analysis, and prepare UK and overseas VAT returns.

Qualifications

• Experience in management accounts and accounting processes.
• Studying ACCA/CIMA or equivalent with drive to progress.
• Ability to work accurately under deadlines in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare management accounts, post journals, accruals and variance analysis.
• Post foreign trial balances and balance sheet reconciliations; UK/overseas VAT returns.
• Assist with year-end activities and ensure timely reporting.
