Job summary

Cygnet Health Care is seeking a finance professional to join the Management Accounting Team. The role focuses on monthly site management accounts, variance analysis, and quarterly internal audit packs, with two days in the office and three from home.

The ideal candidate will hold at least AAT Level 2 and be working towards Level 3, bringing solid Excel and accounting software skills, plus strong analytical and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

• AAT Level 2 as a minimum.
• Working towards AAT Level 3 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dashboard packs and run variance analysis against budgets
• Write commentary on results for management
• Join monthly calls with operational directors and hospital managers to discuss results
• Prepare monthly site management accounts
• Maintain, update and reconcile financial records to accounting standards and company policy
• Prepare quarterly internal audit packs
• Carry out ad hoc financial analysis and projects
• Work with departments such as payroll to explain financial results and build working relationships
