Job description

We are recruiting on behalf of an established, dynamic, and growing leader in their field of expertise. As a highly motivated Assistant Management Accountant, you will join a settled Finance team at their Wednesbury site. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside an experienced Finance Business Partner and contribute directly to the financial success of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in producing monthly management accounts
2. Compile daily, weekly & monthly management reports to support key decision-making
3. Act as team lead in the absence of the Finance Business Partner
4. Prepare and manage financial data across departments
5. Oversee internal EDI system for overhead invoices and accounts payable records
6. Handle consignment stock declarations and intergroup customer invoicing
7. Maintain and develop business intelligence (BI) reporting tools
8. Prepare cost of sales adjustments including Duty, PPV & Freight
9. Review daily stock adjustments and ensure GRNI integrity
10. Liaise with Shared Services for invoice queries and audit requirements
11. Support ad-hoc payments and audit-related tasks
