We're seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join our forward-thinking Finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll support the smooth running of daily accounting functions while playing a key role in developing and refining financial systems and processes across the business.

What You'll Do

• Support the development of internal finance processes and controls.
• Optimise workflows across finance and operational departments.
• Handle day-to-day accounting tasks including bank reconciliations, invoice processing, expense claims, payroll data, and HMRC submissions.
• Assist with management accounts, VAT returns, and year-end accounts.
• Collaborate on finance systems development and change management initiatives.
• Work with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and data analysis.

What We're Looking For

• AAT qualified or working towards or equivalent accounting certification.
• Experience as an Assistant Management Accountant or Finance Assistant in a fast-paced or high-growth environment.
• Strong knowledge of finance systems such as QBO and reporting tools like Excel (Power BI a bonus).
• An analytical thinker with excellent attention to detail and a passion for continuous improvement.
• A confident communicator who can build relationships across teams.
• Ambitious, entrepreneurial, and keen to progress into a senior finance role.
