Assistant Management Accountant, Billingham

Your new company

This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Management Accountant to join the finance team of a successful SME business based in Billingham.

Your new role

Take full ownership of the group's sales and purchase ledgers, reconciling and updating aged balances.
Primary finance contact for the Group Director, collaborating closely on financial reporting and Sage P&L figures.
Daily bank reconciliations across all group companies.
Process, reconcile, and submit VAT returns and monthly CIS returns for all entities within the group.
Reconcile all control accounts
Processing monthly journals for prepayments, accruals, and depreciation.
Preparing weekly cash flow forecasts for the entire group, supporting the Financial Director's reporting to the board.
Processed weekly factory staff timesheets in Sage 50, ensuring accurate project cost allocation.

What you'll need to succeed

A proven track record in producing monthly management accounts is essential to the role.
Sage 50 Accounts experience is an advantage.
