Job Description

  • Assist in the preparation of management accounts, including variance analysis and reporting.
  • Support the month-end close process by reconciling accounts and ensuring accuracy.
  • Prepare financial reports and analysis to assist with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and advice.
  • Assist with audit preparation and liaise with external auditors when necessary.
  • Review and process invoices, ensuring proper coding and approval.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:

  • A background in accounting or finance, ideally within the healthcare industry.
  • Part-qualified or working towards an accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
