Your company

A successful company that operates on a worldwide basis with a strong customer base is looking to expand their team.

Your new role

Working closely with the Finance Controller, you will liaise with the accounts assistants on closing the ledgers at month end and resolving any queries, through to assisting with the monthly management accounts. At the month end, you will process the journals, reconcile the balance sheet, produce reports on budgets and cash flow, as well as assist with the year-end audit process. As you progress, you are likely to take responsibility for one of the group accounts on a monthly basis.

What you'll need to succeed

You will already be studying for your professional qualification (ACCA or CIMA) and possess current experience in daily accounting processes with some month-end duties. Excellent communication skills are required to liaise with colleagues, stakeholders, and external contacts, along with strong Excel/IT skills. The ability to work collaboratively with your team is essential for success in this position.
