A leading engineering firm in Sheffield is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to manage financial reporting processes for a major contract. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to financial analysis and support the Finance Manager in strategic decision-making. Ideal candidates are ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified or part-qualified, with strong Excel skills and previous experience in management accounting.
Your New Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Management Accountant to join our Sheffield Highways PFI contract at Amey Olive Grove Depot, Olive Grove Rd, Lowfield, Sheffield S2 3GE – This role will be hybrid working. The standard hours of work are based on 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday. The salary will be dependent on experience.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and ambitious to join a dynamic and forward thinking Finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager for the Sheffield Highways PFI contract, you will play a significant part in managing the financial reporting processes for the contract, delivering high quality information to tight deadlines. You will support the Finance Manager in the preparation of management information for the senior leadership team and financial planning activities to support successful decision making.
