Job Description:

This is a 3-month contract with hybrid working (3 days a week expected in the office).

Main Responsibilities:
  • Administer and maintain key sections of the finance systems, such as central recharging services.
  • Provide training and support to internal stakeholders as required.
  • Ensure completeness of records through control accounts, storage systems, and reconciliations.
  • Process transactions timely and accurately, addressing queries and unallocated items as needed.
  • Draft reports and related information as required.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of effective administration within the operational area.
  • Assist in preparing monthly and annual accounts, returns, budgets, and projections, liaising with External Audit as needed.
  • Develop and coordinate manual and electronic filing systems to ensure records are accurate and up-to-date.
Knowledge:

Part-qualified CIMA/ACCA and/or degree in Accountancy/Finance.

Skills and Experience:
  • Experience in a finance role.
  • Knowledge of accounting and budgetary systems.
  • Experience working in a performance-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, databases, computerised accounts packages, and related applications for data retrieval and manipulation.
