Job security: Our client operates in one of the most recession-proof sectors; they’re a major educational provider in the Southwest. Over the past two years, Trial Balance Consulting has successfully sourced candidates for eight brand new finance roles. Two of those placements were either during or post lockdown. They’ve not lost a member of their finance team in five years.

They support this through professional study where applicable. You’ll be working as part of an experienced finance team with 13 department colleagues.

Role variety: No two days will ever be the same in this role. The organization is growing very rapidly, and the senior finance team recognizes that nobody wants to tackle the same mundane tasks day in, day out. This is a role that spans virtually every aspect of the finance function but with a prominent focus on the production of high-quality management accounts, supporting the senior finance team, and working closely with a variety of non-finance department decision makers. Core focus of the role includes:

1. Management Accounting
2. Financial analysis
3. External reporting and financial accounting
4. Play a key role in supporting major accounting projects

This is a full-time, permanent role that is offered on a hybrid working basis with three days in the office and two remote.
