About The Role

We have a new vacancy for an Assistant Management Accountant to join our centralised Finance team at TFG Brands. As a key member of our international finance function, you will support the Financial Reporting Manager with month-end reporting, compliance statutory reporting, and wider financial control.

Your duties and responsibilities as Assistant Management Accountant will include:

1. Supporting the team during the month-end close process by posting journals, maintaining accurate balance reconciliations, and providing analysis and insight into the financial information being reported in the management accounts
2. Responsible for the monthly process for reporting admin and general costs in the accounting system (Sun) for the entire TFG Group (all brands), including utilities, insurance, repairs and maintenance costs, legal & professional fees, accounting & tax fees, travel & entertainment costs, fixed assets, and preparing balance sheet reconciliations for relevant accounts (accruals, prepayments). Also includes P&L analysis for general costs and Year-End processes.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and experience:

1. CIMA / ACCA / ACA part-qualified
2. Proficient in Excel (SUM, Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
3. Previous experience using Sun is beneficial but not essential
4. Resilient, well-organized, able to manage own time and deadlines with minimal supervision
5. Flexible, positive, and willing to take on new tasks/projects
6. Collaborative team player, willing to support others
7. Strong professional communication skills
8. Retail background and/or experience in multisite operations is preferable but not essential
