Role:

This role is responsible for the accurate recording and processing of financial information within the ERP system and supporting the Management Accountant with the day to day responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Complete all mandatory training.
• Processing of bank payments to the online system as and when required
• Recording bank transactions in the ERP system, and undertaking regular bank reconciliations
• Manage private mileage reclaim for drivers with fuel cards
• Preparation and posting of monthly journals
• Support the preparation of VAT returns
• Completion of ONS requests
• Manage the vehicle fleet, tracking drivers to cars and gathering monthly mileage information from drivers
• Support the intercompany recharge process, providing Accounts Receivable with the documentation required to raise invoices
• Monthly reconciliation of intercompany balances and completion of intercompany schedules for Group reporting
• Support the provision of information to external auditors
• Provision of information, reports and detail as and when required

Requirements:

• C grade in Maths and English Language GCSE or Equivalent.
• AATL4 or QBE would be desirable
• Previous experience working in Purchase Ledger environment is essential for the role
• previous experience working in Finance environment is essential for the role
• Experience in a manufacturing environment would be desirable
