As Assistant Management Accountant, you will play a key role within the finance function, supporting the financial management, reporting and performance analysis of a best in class Student Accommodation portfolio across multiple assets and entities.

You will be responsible for a broad range of management accounting and financial reporting activities, including:
The successful candidate will have a degree in Accounting & Finance or hold an AAT Level 3 qualification and above currently undertaking ACCA, ACA or CIMA studies.
You will have an accountancy background in real estate, property or hospitality sectors, exposure to Student Accommodation or PBSA portfolios preferred, but not essential.
Moreover, you will have acquired experience either as an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, Assistant Account, Assistant Management, Client or Property Accountant supporting operational property portfolio’s through management accounts preparation, journal preparation and posting (prepayments and accruals) with good double entry bookkeeping skills.
Furthermore, you will have good attention to detail, analytical skills with strong Excel and fully conversant in use of pivot tables and VLookUps etc.
Finally, you will have a calm, friendly demeanour with excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
