Assistant Management Accountant | £28,000 - £32,000 + Study | Chorley + Hybrid | Broad exposure and Progression opportunities | High-calibre team within a PE-backed business

Axon Moore are delighted to be partnering with a PE-backed business in Chorley experiencing rapid growth to recruit an up-and-coming Assistant Management Accountant actively studying towards ACCA/CIMA or AAT.

This varied and progressive role requires a driven individual who is able to manage and prioritise workload effectively whilst being hungry for success. Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Balance sheet reconciliations

P&L reconciliations

Accruals and prepayments

Bank reconciliations

Intercompany accounting, i.e. group recharges

Review of sales income reconciliation and posting monthly journals

Payroll support

Year-end and audit support

Ad-hoc duties

Required Experience and Skills:

Actively pursuing ACCA/CIMA or AAT

At least 1 years’ experience within a finance/accounts role

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Good organisational and time-keeping skills

High attention to detail and able to take ownership of their role

Good understanding of double entries and basic accounting practices

Good IT and MS Excel skills
