Assistant Management Accountant

Location: Blackburn, BB3

Salary: £32,000 - £35,000

A multimillion company in the retail and manufacturing sector is looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their team in their Blackburn office. This will be a permanent position, working closely with the Senior Management Accountant to complete various duties.


They are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant with an AAT level 3 or above to join their office in Blackburn on a long-term basis. This job is ideal for an individual with focused knowledge on manufacturing-based Finance and experience in ERP.


Job Responsibilities:
  1. Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
  2. Assist with preparation of Tax returns (including VAT and similar).
  3. Support with month and year-end closing processes.
  4. Carry out audits on stock system both physically and digitally.
  5. Other stock/costing/transactional duties as required.

Job Skills Required:
  1. Knowledge of Microsoft packages (specifically Excel) to an advanced level.
  2. AAT Level 3 Qualified or above.
  3. Background in £30+ million turnover company.
  4. Experience in ERP.
  5. 3+ years in a Manufacturing Finance team.
  6. Friendly and professional phone (and email) manner.
  7. Data entry skills.
