An established industry player is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. This role is pivotal in preparing accurate weekly forecasts, managing financial data, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. You will engage with various departments to gather essential financial insights and contribute to the preparation of monthly management accounts. The company values professional growth, offering support for further qualifications like AAT Level 4 and CIMA. Salary: £25,000 - £30,000pa plus financial compensation to finish AAT at Level 4 or to progress on to CIMA qualification. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 08:30hrs - 17:00hrs.

The Assistant Management Accountants at Gregory Distribution Ltd play a vital role in the finance team, contributing to the preparation of weekly forecasts at cost centre level for multiple business areas. You are responsible for preparing and posting journals for accruals, prepayments, and ad-hoc expenditure that form part of the weekly forecasts and monthly management accounts.
