As an Assistant Management Accountant you will support the Fixed Assets Record to Report (R2R) Manager and colleagues in the R2R team and wider Finance Centre of Excellence and Corporate Finance teams. You will be be responsible and accountable for contributing to the production of accurate and timely management accounts and the integrity of the balance sheet accounting.

Job Description

Your role as Assistant Management Accountant
  • Ensure integrity of PPE and IFRS16 accounting through accurate period end processes
  • Ensure that all journals are well documented and understood before posting
  • Management of balance sheet account reconciliations and identifying and correcting any anomalies in the accounts
  • Working with the auditors and finance teams to ensure we are audit-compliant
  • Identify areas of continual improvement, especially around process automation and reporting standardisation that can save time and improve awareness
  • Supporting Corporate Finance External Reporting team with periodic and quarterly reporting, statutory account submissions or any other processes as required

  • Accounting background either within a shared services function or a finance function
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Studying towards an ACA or ACCA qualification
