Job Description:

Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant to join a rapidly growing business located in East Bristol. The successful candidate will be offered a very competitive package:

Up to £40,000 plus excellent benefits

Role responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Preparation of month-end accounts including the calculation of accruals & prepayments for overheads
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintain all fixed asset registers, including depreciation
• Recharge processing on a monthly basis
• Reconcile all stock control accounts, ensuring all necessary actions are undertaken in a timely manner, including monthly & quarterly stock takes
• Process and reconcile bank account transactions daily and prepare bank reconciliations each month for all bank accounts
• Monthly control account reconciliations
• Monthly analysis and reconciliation of petty cash
• Process all cash expenses
• Provide support to the Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger functions as required
• Other ad hoc tasks as required

Person specification:

• Working knowledge of the month-end process, including: accruals, prepayments, fixed assets
• AAT Level 4 qualified or studying towards CIMA/ACCA
• Good attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Team player
• Private medical and life assurance
• Support for ACCA/CIMA studies
