Assistant Management Accountant

This fast paced manufacturing business based in Blackburn has grown exponentially over the last 10 years organically but also through acquisitions, entering new markets and introducing new revenue streams. They are a large group, with complex systems, high volume transactions, and a stable and experienced finance team of over 10. They continue to push forward with constant re-investment to drive profitability and company growth.

This position is for a progressive Assistant Management Accountant, who must have prior manufacturing experience in particular with WIP, inventory, stock and an understanding of costings within a manufacturing environment.

Reporting to the experienced Management Accountant within the business, who has been there through the growth with strong experience to learn from, you will assist with producing the monthly management accounts. Your role will have an emphasis in supporting the maintenance of accurate BOM's, WIP and inventory, whilst also supporting with the P&L, Balance Sheet recs, financial statements, and year end prep and will assist the accounts payable team where required.

They are ideally looking for a candidate who is AAT Level 4 qualified or degree qualified within accounts, who has previous experience working within a manufacturing business at an Assistant Accountant level. Part Qualified CIMA/ACCA studiers also considered with study support available.
