What will you do?

  • Support building inspections and assist in repairing mechanical systems to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems (e.g., replacing light bulbs and plugs, cleaning circuit breaker panels).
  • Assist in installing and repairing ventilation, refrigeration, and other building systems under supervision.
  • Support maintenance of heating and plumbing systems by helping with minor repairs and reporting major issues.
  • Check alarm systems (fire and security) and coordinate with technicians for repairs.
  • Carry out basic manual repairs (e.g., fixing locks, replacing windows).
  • Support pest control efforts by preparing areas for treatment and handling basic spraying under guidance.
  • Perform general maintenance tasks such as landscaping, painting, or light carpentry as needed.
  • Assist with gathering cost estimates, tracking supplies, and supporting the maintenance budget process.

What do we look for?

  • Experience as a maintenance technician.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and other systems.
  • Knowledge of general maintenance methods and processes.
  • Proficiency with tools, devices, and appliances.
  • Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
  • Good physical condition and strength, with willingness to work overtime.
  • Certificates in air conditioning systems, building maintenance technology, or related fields are valued.
  • Certificates of maintenance and professionalism are a plus.

Attributes

  • Level 2/3 Health and Safety certification (desirable).
  • Professionalism and guest relation skills.
  • Problem-solving skills.
