Assistant M&E Manager – Canary Wharf

Salary: £40,000
Location: Canary Wharf
Region: London

An Established, dynamic Main Contractor with a strong reputation within the construction industry who specialise in delivering large regeneration schemes based in London valued up to £700 mil.

They offer a variety of first class comprehensive services with a very good client relationship due to having a track record of success in completing projects on time, to budget and to the very highest standards.

Due to their growing success and innovative business, they are currently seeking an ambitious experienced freelance Construction Manager to join the team.

The Role

They are currently looking for an innovative individual who is not afraid to bring ideas that can change the marketplace. They seek motivated individuals who want to continue to learn and be challenged, who have superior interpersonal and communication skills.

The role encompasses the design, installation, and maintenance of essential services and equipment amongst current and future projects such as water, gas, electricity supplies, lighting, heating, air-conditioning, ICT, and security systems.

Responsibilities and Key Attributes

  1. Relevant trade background or Degree Qualified
  2. Experience in both Mechanical and Electrical works
  3. 3 years M&E Experience
  4. Reviewing installation plans and specifications
  5. Reviewing prices for services work
  6. Managing Mechanical and Electrical Health and safety
  7. Effectively monitor and oversee site works including subcontract packages, delivering in accordance with company procedures, programme requirements, and project specifications
  8. Manage day-to-day issues
  9. Produce reports on each project at agreed intervals, and whenever substantive actions are required
