Job Introduction
Assistant Logistics Manager - Excel London
  • £35,190 per annum
About the role:
  • Responsible for managing the logistics of all C&E functions for the company within the venue.
  • Oversee the setup and breakdown of all C&E functions and communicate necessary information across the logistics team.
  • Collaborate with the Back of House manager to manage picklist procedures, liaise with the operations team, report shortages, and offer alternative solutions.
  • Conduct quarterly CCG stocktakes with the Back of House manager, report discrepancies, and justify any variances.
  • Manage equipment rental volumes, coordinate with suppliers for delivery and collection according to event setup deadlines.
  • Handle equipment returns or collections, and inform the head of department of any potential losses.
  • Implement measures to reduce breakage of china and glassware.
  • Attend event planning meetings as requested.
  • Report maintenance issues within the venue to the Facility Manager or Head of Logistics.
  • Assist in producing the department rota upon request.
  • Follow and improve operating and cleaning procedures in collaboration with the Head of BOH and Back of House manager.
