Are you an experienced team leader or deputy manager ready to take the next step in your career? Dimensions are offering a fantastic opportunity for a passionate, resilient, and driven Assistant Locality Manager to join our homes in Gateshead.
You’ll play a key role in managing high-quality support for adults with learning disability, autism, and behaviours of distress. The role includes 5 off-rota days per week to focus on key managerial tasks: staff performance reviews, booking training, ensuring compliance, updating support plans and systems, attending reviews and stakeholder meetings, and contributing to continuous home improvement. You’ll also be expected to stay connected to the people we support and lead by example.
Flexibility is key, including occasional weekend support, covering shifts in emergencies, spot checks on nights, and participating in our on-call rota.
We’re looking for someone with strong people management skills, IT confidence, the ability to hold fair but firm conversations, and a clear understanding of what it means to lead with integrity and purpose. This dual role requires professional boundaries, time management, and a commitment to high standards.
