Assistant Legal Cashier – Hybrid Working


Totum Partners are partnering with a leading global law firm to recruit an Assistant Legal Cashier.

This role offers a hybrid working pattern – 2 days in the office and 3 days from home – providing flexibility alongside a supportive environment.

You’ll work closely with the Senior Legal Cashier, supporting key financial administration tasks. This position is ideal for someone with some finance exposure who wants to build their knowledge and take on more responsibility.

Key responsibilities include:
• Assisting with expense claims and invoice processing
• Supporting daily bank reconciliations and online payments
• Managing the purchase ledger (Elite 3E and Sage)
• Preparing bills from drafts at month-end
• Handling write-offs, file closures, and archiving
• Liaising with partners and staff on finance queries
• Filing payments and receipts daily
• Supporting petty cash and bank runs

• Some finance experience, preferably in a legal environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
