Are you a passionate and motivated teacher looking to make a real impact? This is a great opportunity for a dedicated professional to join our Science Faculty, take a leadership role, and be part of a committed and specialist team committed to excellence. You will also have responsibility for the quality of science provision and outcomes at KS5. At Caludon Castle, we invest in our people, and we are looking for someone who shares our vision of fostering curiosity about the world and a love for science in every student.

What We Offer: At Caludon Castle, we pride ourselves on providing a workplace where our staff feel valued, supported, and have the opportunity to professionally grow. Here, you’ll be part of a community that celebrates innovation and ambition – whether you're just starting your career or are an experienced leader.

Employee Benefits Include:

  • Supportive and collaborative team: Flourish in a strong, team-oriented environment where staff morale is high, and professional relationships are nurtured.
  • Comprehensive induction and ongoing professional development: Enjoy a robust induction programme, followed by continuous access to enriching CPL (Continuing Professional Learning) to develop your skills.
  • Clear career progression: We're dedicated to helping you take the next step in your career through leadership developmental opportunities and expert coaching.
  • Technology-rich environment: Work with cutting-edge facilities, including access to an iPad, and benefit from modern, technology-enhanced teaching spaces.
  • Work-life balance: Take advantage of a range of wellness and wellbeing initiatives, such as access to an on-site gym, swimming pool, and a cycle-to-work scheme, all designed to promote your physical and mental health.
  • Great perks: Enjoy free parking, an employee discount scheme, and the chance to work in an environment where your wellbeing and professional growth are a top priority.
  • Exceptional admin support: Focus on what you do best—teaching—while our dedicated admin team takes care of the rest.

About the role: As a key member of our Science Faculty, you’ll have the chance to:

  • Inspire and take a role in the leadership of our inclusive, aspirational, and engaging Science curriculum up to A Level.
  • Support and develop teachers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Engage and motivate students, delivering strong GCSE and A Level results across all ability levels.
  • Make a lasting impact on students’ lives, helping them achieve the highest academic standards in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Our ideal candidate:

  • An ambitious practitioner committed to excellence in teaching and learning.
  • A proven track record of success in GCSE and A Level teaching.
  • A collaborative leader who can support, motivate, and develop colleagues.
  • Enthusiastic about engaging students and staff alike, and driven to make a profound impact on educational outcomes.

At Caludon Castle, we believe in supporting our staff to be the best they can be. With our commitment to professional development, strong team culture, and focus on wellbeing, you will be empowered to thrive in your career.
