Assistant Landscape Architect – With Experience (London)

Are you passionate about creating transformative outdoor spaces that enhance the quality of life for communities and leave a positive impact on the environment? We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic graduate landscape architect with some work experience and a foundational understanding of landscape architecture to join our multidisciplinary team of landscape architects, environmental planners, ecologists, and arboriculturists.

We seek inquisitive, design-focused individuals with an environmental agenda, eager to learn and develop their skills alongside a dynamic team. We offer a friendly and supportive workplace and involve all team members in a wide range of projects.

Our current portfolio includes projects across sectors such as public realm, urban greening/green infrastructure, recreation, commercial, education, care, residential schemes (small to large scale), and renewable energy.

The role

The position involves collaborating with our team, assisting with project management, design development, graphic production, design workshops, detail drawing, site visits, and more, providing invaluable experience at the forefront of the landscape profession. It offers opportunities to develop skills across all project stages.

Requirements
  • BA and/or MA/PGDip in Landscape Architecture
  • At least one year’s experience in the landscape profession
  • Strong graphic, verbal, and written communication skills, including hand sketching and digital design development
  • Good interpersonal skills for collaborative work
  • Technical knowledge and understanding of RIBA/LI work stages and detailed design drawings
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, SketchUp, including digital rendering
  • Basic understanding of the planning system
Beneficial skills
  • Experience with Artisan, KeySCAPE, QGIS, Vectorworks, or Revit
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Analytical and written skills with interest in landscape planning and LVIA
