We are seeking suitably qualified Assistant Landscape Architects & Landscape Planners with diverse experience to join the UK Landscape & Urban Design team. Our passionate and motivated team has offices across the UK. We value integrity, professionalism, creativity, and vision. As part of the UK Environment business, the successful candidate will join a diverse, collaborative team working alongside colleagues across the UK and internationally.

  • Be an integral part of a vibrant, ambitious, and friendly team.
  • Support the delivery of specific tasks within projects.
  • Prepare technical information for landscape infrastructure, development, and improvement projects, including:
  • Strategic and feasibility/concept studies
  • Landscape and visual impact assessments (LVIA) for linear and site-based projects
  • Townscape and visual impact assessments (TVIA)
  • Preliminary/sketch and detailed design, including general arrangement drawings, construction detailing, schedules, and specifications for planning applications
  • Tender and construction packages, inspections during and after construction
  • Support the development of relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Engage in client-facing activities such as design advice, workshops, and stakeholder events.
  • Participate in internal multidisciplinary groups promoting innovation and excellence.

What we will be looking for you to demonstrate…

  • Degree in Landscape Architecture or equivalent
  • Postgraduate diploma or Master’s in Landscape Architecture or equivalent
  • Experience in delivering Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments
  • Experience in landscape and urban design projects is desirable
  • Experience managing landscape design during construction is beneficial
  • Proficiency in Autodesk, Bentley, Adobe Creative Suite
  • Fluent English with excellent communication skills
