The role involves supporting the projects team in land allocation or planning consent to add value to the company's land/property portfolio.

About the Role

As our Assistant Land & Planning Manager, you will:

  • Support, manage, and implement strategies to protect the company's interests, ensuring deliverability and contractual compliance.
  • Conduct financial assessments to inform site viability and business reporting.
  • Keep your line manager regularly updated on progress, budget changes, and risks.
  • Engage with localism and public engagement in land promotion.
  • Represent Wates Developments with integrity internally and externally when promoting land or securing planning consents.
About You
  • Knowledge of the UK residential planning system.
  • Understanding of the residential development market.
  • Familiarity with residential appraisal systems.
  • Basic knowledge of legal contracts.
