Key Responsibilities of an Assistant Kitchen Manager

  • Delivering the food concept to company standards and exceeding guest expectations
  • Managing food stock control, including ordering, deliveries, stock taking, and wastage control
  • Supporting the Head Chef in the kitchen's smooth operation and deputising in their absence
  • Training and developing the kitchen team to reach their potential
  • Ensuring Food Safety and Health & Safety compliance according to law and company policy
