Job Description
- Provide support to first-line technical support to staff, resolving hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Assist with the installation and configuration of IT equipment, including computers, printers, and mobile devices.
- Monitor and maintain the performance of IT systems, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Log and track support requests, escalating more complex issues to senior team members when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and data security protocols in all activities.
The Successful Applicant
A successful IT Support Technician must have:
- New starter creation within Hybrid Exchange
- MS Office troubleshooting
- Intune device and user management
- Desk support
- MS Teams meeting room support (Yealink and Creston devices)
- Laptop build through autopilot
A successful Junior IT Support Technician should have:
- Proven experience in a similar IT support role, ideally within the healthcare industry.
- Strong knowledge of troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Familiarity with IT systems, including Microsoft Office Suite and operating systems.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- An ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
- A proactive approach to learning and staying updated with new technology trends.
- Less than 3 years experience
