Assistant Insurance Manager

The role

Are you an excellent communicator with a knack for building strong relationships with experience in building, public and employee liability insurance in the corporate World?

As the Assistant Insurance Manager, you will report to the Head of Insurance and deputise for them when needed. You will be at the forefront of handling insurance claims, ensuring they are dealt with promptly and effectively. Your role will involve providing an efficient and effective insurance claim handling service for both internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include

Preparing Health & Safety Group reports and attending meetings in the absence of the Head of Insurance.
Assisting in writing and preparing documents and reports for Committees as required.
Leading on managing all queries from residents, third parties, and colleagues regarding potential and current claims and processes.
Ensuring accurate and reconciled Control Accounts.
Producing reports from the Claims Management system, reviewing trends and risks with internal teams.
Leading on collating, investigating, and preparing documentation to support insurers in concluding insurance claims.

This role will be based from our Farringdon or Sittingbourne offices. We operate a hybrid working pattern with a minimum of two days a week in the office.

What you’ll need

Effective communication skills, both orally and written, using a range of techniques and styles
Ability to present complex information in a clear, transparent, and readily understandable manner.
Experience with handling corporate insurance claims
Strong understanding of insurance policies and insurance market
Extensive knowledge of Public Liability, Property, Employee Liability insurance and the various excess structures
