Job description

Assistant ICT Technician required as soon as possible
Permanent, full time, term time working with occasional school holiday working available
Full time working pattern – Term times: Monday to Friday 7:30am -3:30pm core hours
Salary: Grade 3 (SCP 4) £24,404 per annum pro rata
Actual Salary: £21,191.97 per annum

The successful candidate will be a proactive and adaptable team player, capable of working independently under the guidance of the Senior ICT Technician and other senior staff. You will be at the heart of our school's technological and digital presence, providing crucial support across a variety of areas.Key responsibilities will include:


Providing comprehensive technical support to all staff and students, responding to tickets and assisting with the installation and maintenance of hardware, software and audio-visual equipment
Maintaining and enhancing the school's digital footprint by regularly updating the website and social media channels with engaging news, events and student achievements
Conducting routine maintenance of IT and AV equipment to ensure a safe and reliable learning environment for everyone in our school community
Actively participating in the wider school community, which includes assisting with staff training, supporting school events and even helping to run our popular gaming club
