A local educational institution is seeking an Assistant HR Administrator to provide administrative support within its Corporate Services team. The role involves recruitment assistance, managing HR files, and supporting payroll processes. Candidates should have experience in administrative roles and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office. The position offers a supportive environment within a school dedicated to safeguarding.
What skills and experience we're looking for
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused Assistant HR Administrator to join the existing Corporate Services team within St George’s Academy.
Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be responsible for providing effective administrative support for specific aspects of HR for the Academy.
Key responsibilities include:
You should have experience providing administrative support in a busy, customer-focused environment. Experience in HR or recruitment administration is desirable but not essential.
You should have good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, mail merge) and other ICT packages, as well as understanding of filing, storage, and archiving systems. Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing circumstances is important.
The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ Level 2 in Business and Administration or demonstrate equivalent experience.
