LGH Hotels Management Limited in Bristol is seeking an Assistant Hospitality Service Manager - Housekeeping to lead and support a team of housekeepers, ensuring guest rooms, public areas, conference spaces, lounges and bars are presented to the highest standards.

Working with the Housekeeping Manager, you will develop people, uphold exceptional cleanliness, drive continuous improvement, and create a positive environment where colleagues feel valued and motivated to deliver outstanding guest

Qualifications

• Experience in leading housekeeping teams in a hotel environment.
• Strong standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Ability to train and develop staff to meet standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the Housekeeping Manager in day-to-day leadership of the housekeeping team.
• Lead by example to ensure guest bedrooms, public areas, conference rooms, lounges and bars meet high standards.
• Create a positive, well-organised working environment with clear expectations.
• Participate in training, development and growth of the housekeeping team.
• Drive continuous improvement and raise standards across the hotel.
• Ensure attention to detail and presentation are never compromised.

Assistant Hospitality Service Manager - Housekeeping

As one of our Assistant Hospitality Managers, you will play a key role within our Housekeeping department, helping to create an environment where exceptional standards and exceptional people thrive.

Working closely with the Housekeeping Manager, you’ll lead, support and inspire a dedicated team of housekeepers to ensure every guest room, public space, conference area, lounge and bar is presented to the highest standards of cleanliness and care.

This role is about more than maintaining standards — it’s about developing people, encouraging pride in their work and continually finding better, smarter ways of delivering outstanding results across the hotel.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Supporting the Housekeeping Manager in the day‑to‑day leadership of the housekeeping team
• Leading by example to ensure all guest bedrooms, public areas, conference rooms, lounges and bars meet consistently high standards
• Creating a positive, well‑organised working environment where the team feels supported, motivated and clear on expectations
• Playing an active role in the training, development and ongoing growth of the housekeeping team
• Encouraging innovation and continuous improvement, always looking for ways to raise standards across the hotel
