You’ll be joining our Engineering Solutions team, as the UK’s number one highway maintenance contractor, our teams use the latest innovations to create effective solutions. We offer a range of services including planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes.

What will you be doing?

You'll undertake highways maintenance and improvement schemes following current highway standards

You’ll produce design drawings using AutoCAD whilst creating construction packages comprising of design drawings, specifications, Bill of Quantities and Environmental / H&S considerations, and in compliance with QSE standards and processes

You’ll produce technical reports and other technical output to achieve project outcomes.

You’ll provide technical training / supervision of Technicians

We'll ask you to attend site visits, bridge surveys and investigations, structure General, Principal and Safety inspections.

You'll utilise software to undertake highway alignment, traffic signs and drainage design

What You’ll Bring

  • Relevant degree in Civil Engineering
  • Design and construction experience within the highway sector
  • Knowledge of analytical software and its application to bridges & highway structures
  • Knowledge of Highways England standards including DMRB & MCDHW and design using Eurocodes
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety & Environment in design and construction
  • Computer literate with Design software and Microsoft packages
  • Effective communicator, both written and verbally, ability to organise and prioritise
  • UK/EEC driving licence
