We are representing a highly respected UK construction contractor with an excellent track record of delivering large–scale projects. They are seeking an Assistant Health & Safety Manager to join their regional team.

This role is perfect for someone early in their health & safety career who is eager to develop into a full Health & Safety Manager position. You ll gain hands–on experience, work alongside an experienced safety team, and receive structured career development.

The Role

  • Regular site visits

  • Monthly safety audits:

  • Monthly KPI reporting for senior management

  • Supporting with HSE Audits

  • Contributing to the reduction of RIDDOR reportable incidents and generally promoting a first class safety culture within the business.

The Person

  • NEBOSH Construction qualification (essential)

  • Early stage in health & safety career but motivated to progress

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • Willing to travel to sites across Scotland the North East of England as required

  • Proactive, detail–focused, and committed to high safety standards
