Lime Academy Orton seeks an enthusiastic individual to join the Senior Leadership Team, focusing on managing SEND. The role involves enhancing pupils' educational experiences and leading improvements within the school. Candidates should possess relevant leadership experience and a deep understanding of the SEND Code of Practice, along with a passion for educational excellence.
Lime Trust is a Multi Academy Trust formed of 9 schools over 11 locations across Luton, Peterborough and the London Boroughs of Havering and Waltham Forest. Overview of the role:
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual who has:
- Leadership and management of SEND experience
- Experience of leading change and improvement across a school and excellent leadership, organisational and interpersonal skills
- Excellent classroom practice and behaviour management strategies to effectively meet individual learners needs
- Ability to provide pupils with the excitement of a relevant, challenging and creative curriculum that raises standards of education for all
- A clear understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and experience of working with children with a range of complex needs
- High expectations of themselves and others
- Tenacity, passion, drive and ambition
