Job summary

Notre Dame Catholic Academy in Liverpool invites applications for an Assistant Headteacher / SENDCO to lead the School's SEND provision and strategy under the Headteacher. You will shape policy, drive SEND support, and promote inclusion across the trust and local community.

You will coordinate SEND policy and services, guide colleagues, liaise with parents and external agencies, and contribute to safeguarding, pupil welfare and school improvement as part of the Senior Leadership Team.

Responsibilities

• Determine the strategic development of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) policy and provision in the School
• Be responsible for day-to-day operation of the SEND policy and co-ordination of specific provision to support individual students with SEND
• Provide professional guidance to colleagues, working closely with staff across the School, parents and other agencies

Job Purpose:
