Job summary

Clay Hill School, part of Aspris Children's Services, is seeking an outstanding Assistant Headteacher to lead inclusion and SEND practice within a specialist ASC environment. The post focuses on leadership of the broader school improvement agenda and strengthening the SEND team to support personalised learning and wellbeing.

You will work with staff, parents and external agencies to deliver high-quality education tailored to individual needs and to develop inclusive practices across Key Stages

Qualifications

• Honours degree in a related subject.
• PGCE or equivalent in secondary or primary education.
• Qualified Teacher Status.
• Ability to deliver elements of key curriculum areas.
• Successful experience teaching the relevant subject at Key Stage 2, 3 or 4.
• Leadership and management experience.
• Strong understanding of SEND legislation, policies, and best practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents/carers, external agencies, and students.
• Excellent relationships with children and young people.
• Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
