A leading educational organization seeks an Assistant Headteacher for Manor Wood School in Bristol. Location: Manor Wood School, Bishopsworth, Bristol, BS13 8AG
Salary: Up to GBP50,000.00 per annum depending on experience
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

This is a senior position within the school's staffing structure, with membership of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT). The role involves both teaching and leadership responsibilities.
The post holder will support the Headteacher in leading on the quality of education, ensuring curriculum effectiveness, and compliance with statutory responsibilities for students with EHCPs. Responsibilities include monitoring pupil progress, chairing EHCP review meetings, and working with staff to maintain high expectations for all pupils.
The role requires carrying out duties as outlined in the 'School Teachers' Pay and Conditions' document, QTS standards, and school policies.
Manor Wood School, opening in May 2025 in Bishopsworth, Bristol, will serve up to 80 pupils with complex needs, including SEMH.
