Cambridge Maths School is seeking an exceptional Assistant Headteacher to join our ambitious leadership team. This role focuses on pastoral and whole-school leadership, safeguarding and student wellbeing, and driving strategic development in partnership with staff, families and external partners.

The successful candidate will be an outstanding classroom practitioner with middle or senior leadership experience, a commitment to widening participation, and the vision and resilience to lead

Qualifications

• Strong track record of leading school improvement.
• Experience in middle or senior leadership within a school or sixth form.
• Experience of leading and developing staff and teams.
• Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and student wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee pastoral provision to support students academically, socially and personally.
• Contribute to strategic leadership of the school.
• Develop staff and teams within the leadership group.
• Drive high standards of teaching, learning and student experience.
• Collaborate with families and external partners to support progression.
• Shape CMS as a centre of excellence for post-16 education.
