Assistant Headteacher for Inclusion, SEND & Safeguarding

Contract Type: Permanent

Contract Term: Full-Time

Salary: Leadership Pay Scale L6 - L10

Reporting to: Head Teacher

We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Assistant Headteacher to join our dedicated Senior Leadership Team and lead our provision for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Inclusion, and Safeguarding.

We are looking for a strong practitioner with experience of leading SEN provision with excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to lead, motivate, inspire and support colleagues and who is passionate about raising standards and life chances for all children.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Has significant and successful teaching experience in a primary school setting.
  • Has a proven track record of leadership and management.
  • Holds or is working towards the National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCo) or equivalent qualification/experience.
  • Has completed Designated Safeguarding Lead training (desirable).
  • Is passionate about making a difference to the lives of all children.
  • Is resilient, reflective and solution-focused.
