Job summary

Bridgwater College Academy invites applications for the Primary Assistant Headteacher Behaviour and Personal Development. This full-time, permanent leadership role provides strategic oversight of behaviour, attendance, personal development and enrichment across the Primary Phase.

The post-holder will lead the development of a consistent behaviour culture, champion inclusion and high expectations, and work with families and external agencies to remove barriers to learning and secure excellent

Qualifications

Experience leading improvements in behaviour, attendance, pastoral provision or personal development within a school setting.
Secure understanding of effective behaviour systems and strategies that promote positive relationships and conduct.
Ability to lead change and gain commitment from staff, pupils and families.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership for behaviour, attendance, personal development and school culture across the Primary Phase.
Develop and implement a consistent behaviour culture that enables every pupil to thrive.
Work with families and external agencies to remove barriers to learning and secure the best outcomes.
