Salary: Up to £53,000 per annum
Location: New Barn School, Newbury, Berkshire, RG20 8HZ
Hours: 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

As Assistant Headteacher, you will lead initiatives to uphold high standards of student conduct and well-being, working closely with the Senior Leadership Team. Your leadership will foster a safe, engaging environment where students thrive. You will oversee behaviour management, support staff development, and manage the welfare, family support, and SENCO teams.
New Barn School caters to boys and girls aged 6-19 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health challenges. The school offers outdoor learning opportunities, including forest school, farm experiences, and horse riding. Located within accessible distance of Swindon, Oxford, and surrounding towns, it provides a supportive environment to help pupils develop skills and confidence.
